Today, we came into the office and started cleaning out all the junk that was left behind when the previous Assistant Director left. This included throwing away outdated promotional items, expired drinks, and broken materials that were thrown into the corner of the office. At around 10, the other summer interns arrived and we introduced ourselves, explained what we wanted to gain from this experience, and were all assigned a specific sport to focus on for creating our Marketing Plans. After the meeting, I finalized the Men’s Basketball Attendance numbers for all the home games for last year and set those off the David for review. I then started working on attendance numbers for Gymnastics and Women’s Basketball. I shared these figures with the other interns so they could update the specific teams documents to show the correct information. Finally, David gave me last year’s Promotions and Advertising Checklists to update and improve to correlate with every sport on campus.
